5G and Next Generation Network Vulnerability Analyst
Key Role

Leverage comprehension of telecommunications networks, next generation networking concepts and solutions, and communications protocols, including air interface, to aid in vulnerability analyses and assessments. Apply practical experience with these concepts to applied research, security, and vulnerability analysis scenarios. Leverage knowledge of controls frameworks to guide vulnerability and security analysis. Consult with team and client on security methodologies and vulnerability analysis approaches. Leverage experience with networking and communication protocols to fuel analysis. Facilitate collaboration on these technologies and concepts.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with network, security, and vulnerability analysis
  • Experience with vulnerability research and analysis, controls, and mitigations
  • Knowledge of telecommunication protocols, architecture, and processes, including air interface protocols
  • Knowledge of security architecture and design, including firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Virtual Private Networking, and virus and malware protection technologies
  • Knowledge of next generation networking solutions, such as Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC), and network slicing
  • Knowledge of 5G use cases such as Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), smart warehouses, and V2X
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, and PHP
  • Knowledge of 5G protocols, architecture, network slicing, and MEC
