Main Objective: Collaborate in the Realtime Computer Graphics and AR/VR production process, from conception to delivery, to create high quality realtime and AR/VR applications. This person will focus on the programming side vs 3D content creation side of the production process.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate in all phases of the realtime computer graphics production pipeline including concept design, front end application development, pipeline development, tool development, C# scripting, 3D modeling – both hard surface and organic, rigging – both mechanical and character based, animation, motion capture, materials and texture development, shader development, lighting, rendering, and visual effects with emphasis on Technical Art.
- Ability to work all aspects of a project: design, scripting/programming, modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, UI/UX design, and motion graphics.
- Coordinate with Department Managers, Marketing Team Leaders and Product Managers to produce realtime computer graphics and AR/VR applications.
- Confer with Direct Supervisors, Product Managers and Team Leaders to apprise them on the progress of realtime computer graphics and AR/VR projects.
- Examine surgical videos, still and stock footage as required at a fundamental level. Observes surgical demonstrations including cadaver dissections.
Knowledge And Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Unity and/or Unreal Engine
- Intermediate understanding of programming in C# and/or C++ and Blueprints
- Intermediate knowledge of 3D Animation programs: 3DS Max, Maya, Zbrush, Houdini, Cinema 4D preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of realtime visual effects, shader development, and rendering
- Experience with UI/UX design
- Intermediate knowledge of AR/VR Development
- Understanding of professional team software development practices, including unit testing and version control
- Understanding of mathematics critical to 3D interactive development, including linear algebra and matrix operations
Education/ Experience
- 3 Years experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- BS/BA Degree in Computer Science/Game Design/Computer Animation/Visual Effects preferred
