We’re looking for an Interactive Prototyper to join the Spectacles Product Experience team!

What You’ll Do

• Prototype simple and intuitive experiences for Spectacles
• Contribute to all stages of the design and prototyping process
• Regularly give and receive feedback on design and prototyping iterations
• Work directly with designers and user researchers to implement, execute tests, and iterate based on feedback and learnings.
• Work with other prototypers, designers, product managers, and engineers to oversee new user experiences from concept to launch
• Opportunities to showcase your work directly to the CEO
• Communicate feature specifications to the engineering teams responsible for building them
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to create your own 3D assets with tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema4D
• High levels of creativity and intuition in developing new paradigms
• Ability to understand the required polish, robustness, and interactivity needed from each prototype
• Strong attention to visual and motion design to create polished prototypes
• Familiarity with creating experiences for VR/AR
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
• 3+ years experience prototyping interactive experiences
• Proficiency in designing, prototyping, and programming with real-time 3D engines (e.g. Unity, Unreal, Lens Studio, Spark AR)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in designing and building delightful interactive experiences
• Experience with scripting (JavaScript, C#, etc.)
• Experience with existing and established Human-Computer Interaction paradigms
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Passion for interaction design and prototyping
