PTC is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded individuals to join our North American sales organization where you will have the opportunity work with the acknowledged leader in the incredibly dynamic Internet of Things (IoT) and AR space. Our current customer base includes a growing number of companies in a range of industries. We are looking for motivated sales professionals to work in these market segments which would include any manufacturer/end users looking to embrace IoT or AR technologies for their respective markets through a connected application offering. Many of the world’s largest manufacturing companies are entering this fast paced IoT space to create new revenue streams and offer greater visibility to how their specific products “live” in the real world. The sales team will require the skillset to translate the IoT value proposition into real-world business value.
Your Day-To-Day
- Achieve assigned revenue target by selling PTC’s IoT and AR line of solutions and services to global leaders in the industrial and commercial products space
- Provide leadership to a cross-functional account team (sales, presales specialists, global services)
- Significantly extend the existing strategic relationship with customers/prospects
- Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating through close.
- Competent in the ability to forecast and assess revenue opportunities
- Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients
- Build high level executive/SVP relationship sales long term partnership
Skills
And Knowledge Most Relevant To The Job
- Knowledge of IoT / M2M solutions or of MES / Automation solutions or Augmented Reality
- Experience of discrete manufacturing industry
- Successful sales track record
- Able to work in a team and goals driven
- Consistent top performer/ President’s Club or equivalent
- Fluent in English
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
