Summary:

  • We need a Gameplay developer, who can rapidly prototype futuristic Unity experiences based on cutting edge technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build cutting edge prototypes that demonstrate value and guide roadmaps of future MR products.
  • Write clean readable code, debug complex problems that span systems, prioritize ruthlessly and get things done with a high level of efficiency.
  • Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions
  • Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of MR problem solving
  • Provide API feedback during development to cross-functional teams.
  • Partner effectively with PMs, engineers, user researchers, content strategists & QA, implementing the user experience from product conception to launch.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Prototyping Experiences Team – Developing in Unity – Building Experiences, Working with PM and XFNs and tracking engineering. Building future of AR/MR.

Must Haves:

  • **CWAM wants engineers with rendering and shaders experience**
  • Experience with real-time 3D development
  • Strong programming ability in C#
  • Experience with Unity, AR/VR and game development.
  • Strong real-time shader and VFX skills

Nice to Have:

  • Former big tech is not necessarily preferred
  • Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving ability are required.
  • Strong ability to visualize in 3D and understand spatial interactions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computational complexity, algorithm design, software design.

Skills:

  • Experience with real-time 3D development
  • Strong programming ability in C#
