SimX is a fast-growing startup bringing virtual and augmented reality to medical simulation training. Our product is the first comprehensive professional-grade VR medical simulation system, and it is used by our customers to train physicians, nurses, paramedics and other allied health professionals. Since our product has become generally available, demand has exploded and we're in need of new team members to move our product forward.

THE JOB

As the Senior Sales Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and refining the operational backbone of our growing sales organization. You will work closely with the sales leadership team in supporting our sales team by optimizing systems, processes, and data management practices to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for the operational aspects of our sales function, from data analysis to CRM management and process improvements, ensuring our sales team can focus on delivering high-impact results.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Process Refinement and System Optimization

  • Analyze and refine existing sales processes to maximize efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and implement systems that support accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting using Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to identify and eliminate process bottlenecks, and implement automation within sales workflows to reduce administrative burden on sales team members.

Data Analysis and Insights

  • Build and maintain Salesforce dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics, leveraging data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Generate and analyze reports for senior leadership, providing insights on sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting.
  • Design dashboards and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making and enhance visibility into team and individual performance.

Sales Support and Enablement

  • Partner with sales managers to align Salesforce processes and tools to improve prospecting, pipeline management, and closing capabilities.
  • Conduct ongoing CRM and tool training for sales reps to ensure high proficiency in Salesforce and other sales tools.
  • Support onboarding of new sales team members to ensure consistent adoption of Salesforce best practices.

Strategic Planning and Incentive Support

  • Support sales leadership in setting achievable and ambitious goals that align with company revenue targets.
  • Assist with developing and managing incentive and bonus structures to motivate high performance.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment across customer journey stages and drive a cohesive customer experience.
  • Collect and share feedback from the sales team with product and marketing teams to influence strategy and product development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales operations role, preferably within healthcare or SaaS.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales tracking and reporting tools, as well as office software like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in generating and interpreting sales data and reports.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • U.S. work authorization and permanent residence in the United States.

This is a full-time, remote position. Candidates must live within the United States. In addition, candidates will also be expected to attend major simulation conferences and/or in person consultation meetings potentially as frequently as monthly.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience in healthcare (RN, EMT, Paramedic, PA, MD, DO, etc.) or the healthcare simulation industry.
  • Experience supporting a sales team in a remote work environment.
  • Experience with VR hardware and software.
  • Degree in business, data analytics, or related field.
