Job Title: Application Development Manager
Location: Texas (Fully Remote)
Position Overview:
The client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead the development of our product lines targeting novel photolithography market segments in the U.S. The role focuses on AR/VR, Nano Imprint, and Semiconductor-related markets. This position drives strategic growth within these segments, manages a team of Account Managers, and collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to align product roadmaps with customer needs. The BD Manager will develop annual sales plans, directly engage with key customers, and manage complex accounts critical to the company’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Lead the development of the company’s BD product lines targeting novel photolithography market segments including AR/VR, Nano Imprint, and Semiconductors.
- Oversee the creation and execution of strategic business plans for designated market segments, identifying key volume and strategic customers.
- Work directly with Account Managers to generate new business and incremental orders by engaging with customers and promoting NBD products and services.
Team Management:
- Directly manage a team of Account Managers within the NBD market, ensuring alignment with business goals and sales objectives.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
Sales & Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement the annual sales plan for NBD, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Provide regular updates and progress reports on sales activities and status to senior management.
- Work with teams in the EU and Japan to develop pricing strategies and ensure competitive positioning in the U.S. NBD markets.
Collaboration & Product Development:
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing groups to maintain and enhance the NBD product roadmap in alignment with customer needs and industry trends.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into the product development process.
Customer Engagement & Market Expansion:
- Attend customer technology forums and industry events to publicize NBD products, services, and company offerings.
- Evaluate and design promotional strategies to attract customers and increase brand awareness.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, handling complex accounts and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
- Continuously monitor the competitive landscape within target markets, understanding emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
- Identify and address complex customer issues requiring a high level of expertise and decision-making skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales management, or account management, with a focus on photolithography, semiconductor, AR/VR, or Nano Imprint industries.
- Proven experience in managing complex accounts and developing business strategies to drive growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of Account Managers.
- In-depth knowledge of photolithography technologies and their applications in the semiconductor, AR/VR, and Nano Imprint markets.
