The Information Technology team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting one of the top Technology client that has an opening for a
Product Designer (XR/VR/MR).
Location: Remote in United States
Pay Rate Range: $55 - $60/hour W2, based on experience
Duration: 9+ months contract
Summary:
As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating innovative, user-centric experiences for XR (AR, VR, MR) products within the Company’s Windows ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine immersive experiences that are both functional and visually compelling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver on the product vision for XR experiences.
- Design intuitive and immersive user interfaces and interactions tailored for AR, VR, and MR environments.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed visual designs that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the design vision is executed faithfully and efficiently.
- Contribute to the development of design systems and best practices that support scalability and consistency across XR products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on XR (AR, VR, MR) or related fields.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience in designing immersive experiences for XR platforms.
- Experience using prototyping tools for XR, such as ShapesXR, Bezi, or similar, to rapidly visualize and iterate on spatial experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Unity experience is a plus.
