Tech Live Look (TLL) is used by Porsche Service personnel for augmented reality assisted diagnostics and workflow in the Porsche Dealership Workshop environment. The Workshop Support / TLL Specialist will provide timely assistance to Porsche Centers and Food and Beverage Client internal departments via support tickets, email, and phone. This position will create, review, edit and publish TLL service information and technical information using raw information and internal documents or developed independently. Assist the complete Workshop Support team in operational, administrative, and Workshop IT tasks as needed.

Hybrid work model split between on-site (Atlanta Food and Beverage Client HQ) and work from home.

Infrequent / minimal travel to Porsche service centers or Food and Beverage Client vendors may be required.

Roles & responsibilities

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Tech Live Look (TLL) program lead

• Support the setup and maintenance of head-worn devices (glassware) and application’s technology

• Responsible for on-site/virtual training of all new dealers to Tech Live Look.

• Developed and execute training of the program to Technicians, Technical Support and Field Technical manager.

• Submit monthly Tech Live Look subscription fee to Finance.

• Continuing development of TLL

• Main point of contact for all TLL technical issues for Food and Beverage Client and 205+ Porsche Centers.

• Solves technical problems and queries related to Wi-Fi/networking installations.

• Investigates Porsche Center network faults that may impact Tech Live Look performance.

• Interacts with Porsche Center and 3rd party IT departments

• Makes recommendations to improve TLL performance.

• Stress tests the TLL software releases prior to release.

• Identify bugs/defects within the software and submit bugs through Microsoft Feedback Hub.

• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues.

• Provides step by step written technical information.

• Client, identify and test possible hardware options for Tech Live Look.

• Processes requests for hardware.

• Provides information on functionality of TLL to Porsche Centers, Technical Support and field team as needed.

• Collaborating with Porsche IT.

• Identify optimal dealership Wi-Fi, PC, and network standards for TLL program, Porsche Special Tools, Porsche Diagnostic Tester, and PiUS Server.

• Support Networking questions for PiUS Server Software setup at Porsche Centers.

• General IT support for the Workshop Support team.

• Restore old tester equipment to working condition.

• Ad-Hoc Workshop Support team tasks.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science; or equivalent education

• 4+ years professional experience in troubleshooting wide area networks, wireless connectivity, servers and routers, local area networks and switches

• 1+ year experience in emerging technologies, specifically Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality including hardware/glassware support

• Automotive experience or coursework preferred

Experience:

• 3+ years in IT or Automotive Technical Support (college experience accepted)

• Preferred: Cisco CCENT/CCNA, CompTIA Network+

• AR/VR headsets (Quest, Vive, Index, HoloLens 2, RealWear)

• Software and hardware integration

• Android OS, tools and applications

• Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Power Platform, Autopilot, Intune, MS 365

• Adobe Creative Suite

Skills:

• Candidate must have excellent communication skills

• Ability to provide strong operational support (i.e., step by step technical help both written and verbal)

• Must have strong technical comprehension – specifically in area of implementation and troubleshooting of networking equipment including routers, access points and equipment.

• Must have strong understanding of networking technologies including wireless infrastructure, firewalls, switches, routers, TCP/IP communication protocol and ports

• Must have solid understanding of multimedia, streaming and video technologies

• Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality/Mixed Reality technology experience

• Ability to work in a team environment and independently

• Excellent analytical skills

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 programs

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

• Understanding of digital content creation and publication systems (Porsche PPN)

• Well organized, attention to detail

• Functions well under pressure and ability to meet deadlines

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks in a group or independently

• Effective in person or virtual meeting presentation skills

• Process oriented way of thinking and good analytical skills

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment

• Working knowledge of automobile systems

• Basic German language skills (preferred, not required)
