Job Description
Summary:
As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating innovative, user-centric experiences for XR (AR, VR, MR) products within the client’s Windows ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine immersive experiences that are both functional and visually compelling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver on the product vision for XR experiences.
- Design intuitive and immersive user interfaces and interactions tailored for AR, VR, and MR environments.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed visual designs that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the design vision is executed faithfully and efficiently.
- Contribute to the development of design systems and best practices that support scalability and consistency across XR products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on XR (AR, VR, MR) or related fields.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience in designing immersive experiences for XR platforms.
- Experience using prototyping tools for XR, such as ShapesXR, Bezi, or similar, to rapidly visualize and iterate on spatial experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Unity experience is a plus.
Candidate Requirements
- 2+ overall years of experience in the field.
- No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
- Candidates with no portfolio and do not have examples of a couple of projects that they have worked on will not be eligible for the role.
Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience with Figma. - Required
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience with Adobe suite. - Required
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
