Position: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Grow Your Career While Making a Difference!
We're seeking a driven individual with 6+ months of BDR or SDR experience to join our collaborative, energetic Sales team. This role will begin as an outbound SDR with a clear career path to becoming an Account Executive.
What you will sell: Help prepare the next generation of skilled workers with SkillMill™, the world's leading Trades training platform. Digital training simulations and VR develop on-the-job skills quickly and efficiently, preparing learners for better careers and better lives in these essential occupations.
We are based in Austin, TX but open to 100% remote candidates (work from home, WFH, virtual sales position)

What You’ll Do
- Lead Generation: Proactively reach out to potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Qualification: Engage in meaningful conversations to understand prospects' needs and qualify them as potential customers.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule product demos and meetings for Account Executives with qualified leads.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain Hubspot (CRM) accuracy and manage leads through the sales pipeline stages.
- Participate in special projects and assignments to contribute to team success
Who You Are
- Prospecting Expert: Experience and interest in phone and email prospecting, with a knack for building rapport quickly.
- Communication Skills: Ability to initiate engaging conversations, communicate value, and handle objections effectively.
- Self-Motivated: Driven by success and motivated to achieve and exceed targets.
- Writing Skills: Proficient in crafting smart and engaging email content that resonates with prospects.
Requirements
- 6+ months business development or sales experience
- SaaS sales experience strongly preferred

- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations and be residents of the United States.
Pay: $80k OTE ($40k base salary, $40k commission - uncapped)
