Position: VP of Enterprise Sales

Reporting to the CRO, The Vice President of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for enterprise clients. This role involves leading the enterprise sales team and establishing sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in enterprise sales leadership within the SaaS and/or EdTech industries, excellent strategic planning skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced start-up environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategy Development and Execution:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
    • Establish and achieve sales targets, quotas, and KPIs.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the enterprise sales team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
    • Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and individual growth.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients and partners.
    • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
    • Develop strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty.
  • Sales Operations:
    • Oversee the sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Ensure efficient use of sales tools and technologies to streamline processes.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer success, to align strategies and achieve company goals.
    • Communicate sales performance and insights to the executive team and stakeholders.
Who You Are

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior enterprise sales leadership role, preferably as a VP of Enterprise Sales or similar position, within the SaaS and/or EdTech industries.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth in the enterprise market.
  • Experience managing sales leaders in a multi-tiered organization.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations and be residents of the United States.

Pay: $175k-225k base salary + bonus/commission
