KPS Global is looking for a traveling Maintenance Field Service Technician to join our Aftermarket Services department.

The Maintenance Field Service Tech provides technical service and warranty repair assistance for walk-in coolers and freezers and plays a big part in KPS Global’s ability to offer excellent service to customers.

KPSG is growing rapidly and we need people in several locations throughout the country to support our customer base.

This role requires 100% travel to serve our customer base. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, electrical, and refrigeration.

  • Performing and assisting with warranty repair service of walk-in coolers and freezers
  • Communicating with customers in the field
  • Taking emergency customer calls
  • Ensuring a safe working environment
  • Taking field measurements and photos for inside sales to use for quoting projects and repairs
  • Promoting products and services in the field

Required Experience

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 - 3 years of industry experience; 2 - 3 years of field experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of laptop, smart phone, small hand and electronic tools
  • Advanced carpentry skills and basic knowledge of refrigeration systems, including troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to professionally communicate with customers and effectively capture requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be comfortable standing, climbing, and walking for the majority of the time on-site
  • Must be comfortable walking in air-conditioned and non air-conditioned areas
  • 100% travel required
    • 80% of travel is within driving distance
    • 20% of travel you will fly to customer locations
    • Company truck is provided
    • Travel card is provided
