Compensation Range: $55.00 - 58.75 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VR Specialist to join our client's dynamic team in Greensboro, NC!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a VR Artist within the automotive, product, architecture, or industrial design fields. You will play a critical role in the creation and optimization of 3D content, ensuring VR experiences are both visually stunning and highly functional.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality VR content using Unreal Engine.
• Optimize real-time 3D engines for performance and visual fidelity.
• Work with both low poly and high poly 3D models, converting 3D surfaces to meshes.
• Master the unwrapping and texturing processes for both hard surface and organic geometries.
• Develop and optimize complex shaders within Unreal Engine.
• Utilize Blueprints in Unreal Engine for advanced functionality.
• Design photorealistic materials and lighting setups.
• Implement basic keyframe animations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype concepts and incorporate feedback.
• Continuously improve workflows, proposing innovative ideas and solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and go-to person for complex VR-related issues.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Education: Bachelors (required)
• 2-3+ years of experience as a VR Artist within an automotive, product, architecture, or industrial design studio.
• Proficient in Unreal Engine and familiar with all aspects of the content creation pipeline.
• Good understanding of real-time 3D engine optimization.
• Basic understanding of computer programming.
• Basic knowledge of keyframe animations.
• Keen eye for detail and realism.
• Ability to question current workflows and propose new ideas.
• Ability to prototype concepts and interpret feedback effectively.
