We are seeking a Vice President, Event Production to lead all event initiatives. The Vice President, Event Production will set the vision for our events and be responsible for the successful delivery of all events annually, as well as other strategic initiatives across the organization. With a background in event management, project management, stakeholder collaboration, and team leadership, this individual will ensure the organization's goals are met through the successful execution of event deliverables. They will be able to think strategically to advance the event delivery process and manage the internal team and external agencies who will collaboratively bring DRL's events to life.

What You'll Do:
- Build, oversee, manage, and lead the team responsible for delivering a suite of DRL events on an annual basis, including those affiliated with the DRL World Champion and exhibition or outside, sponsor related events
- Oversee all phases of production from venue contract negotiation to event closeout and will be responsible for meeting KPIs around cost management, planning timelines and event scalability
- Collaboratively work with the Head of Media and Head of Product, develop the overall P&L for each race, set individual event and overhead budgets, and be responsible for managing and meeting a season-long event production budget for all DRL races globally
- Ensure coordination across all DRL departments and internal and external stakeholders and lead the charge toward hitting key event milestones throughout all phases of event production and ensure coordination between teams
- Lead on strategic initiatives to increase efficiency across all areas of DRL's event production processes and generally across the organization including, but not limited to, planning processes, season touring and routing, vendor management, pilot recruitment, sports betting, event design, venue selection, global expansion, and safety at events through risk assessment and mitigation
What You'll Bring:
- 11 - 15 years of experience in event management, event production, project management or other related industry
- Live event experience strongly preferred, with a background in touring shows and live broadcast TV events a plus
- Effective leader with demonstrated ability to coordinate resources across multiple teams
- Very strong on-site leadership experience, including ability to manage vendors, crew, and staff on large scale productions
- Skilled in project management across multiple strategic initiatives
- Sophisticated written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to communicate strategies across all levels of an organization
- Experience working with health and safety authorities outside of the US is desired
- Willingness to work long and sometimes irregular hours a must to include nights, holidays and weekends
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time, for site visits, planning meetings, and on-site execution; may be higher depending on event schedule

The base pay range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000. The base salary range is applicable across the United States and the offered rate may vary based on factors such as experience, education, market conditions, and location.
