Position Summary:

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of RGC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological future of our company. You will be a visionary leader, responsible for driving innovation, developing cutting-edge solutions, and ensuring that our technology strategy aligns seamlessly with our business goals. You will lead our Tech Innovation Lab (TIL), overseeing the development of groundbreaking software, hardware, and infrastructure that will power our brands' digital experiences.

Your expertise in gaming and emerging technologies such as extended reality (XR), including augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR), as well as artificial intelligence (AI), will be instrumental in creating immersive and transformative experiences for our diverse audience. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and other C-suite executives to ensure that technology is seamlessly integrated into our products, services, and customer experiences, creating a unified and compelling brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Visionary Leadership: Develop and articulate a comprehensive and forward-thinking technology vision for RGC and it's subsidiaries, ensuring it aligns with the company's mission, values, and strategic objectives. Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within TIL, encouraging your team to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of what's possible.

Team Building and Mentorship: Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers, researchers, and developers, providing guidance and mentorship to unlock their full potential. Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued and encouraged.

Technological Innovation: Spearhead the research, development, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, including XR, AI, and other emerging fields, to create inclusive solutions that reshape industries and deliver exceptional experiences to our customers.

Infrastructure and Scalability: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of RGC and it's subsidiaries technology infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, reliable, and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of our growing business.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments, including Experience Design Studio (EDS) and Marketing, to seamlessly integrate technology into our products, services, and customer experiences, creating a unified and compelling brand presence.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics and insights to inform technology strategy, prioritize projects, and measure the impact of technological investments. Make data-informed decisions that drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Budgeting and Resource Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve strategic objectives. Ensure that the company's technological investments are aligned with its financial goals and priorities.

External Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with technology vendors, research institutions, and other relevant organizations to accelerate innovation and gain access to new technologies and capabilities. Leverage these partnerships to expand RGC's technological reach and impact.

Qualifications:

Proven Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, demonstrating a track record of success in driving innovation and delivering results, preferably in the gaming, AR/VR, or AI industries.

Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of software development, cloud infrastructure, data science, and emerging technologies like XR and AI. Experience in inclusive design and developing solutions for diverse audiences is highly desirable.

Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, foster a collaborative culture, and inspire individuals to achieve their full potential.

Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically about the role of technology in driving business growth and aligning technology initiatives with overall business objectives.

Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business fundamentals and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives, investors, and customers.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is an equity-based position with a competitive deferred salary structure that accrues interest. Additionally, you will receive a substantial RSU equity grant with stock purchase options, providing significant upside potential as RGC continues to grow and disrupt the marketplace.
