Work Location: On-site in Lake Mary, FL


Position Summary:

The Unity Developer will be responsible for creating and optimizing engaging, high-quality interactive mixed reality applications on CPI, GPU and lite client. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining code within the Unity engine that will be loaded on mixed reality wearable and on Angular thin client with PHP backend collaborating closely with designers, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of assets and functionality.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential duties of the position include the following, and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop and implement game mechanics, user interfaces, and interactive features in Unity.
  • Optimize performance and ensure a smooth user experience across multiple platforms (PC, wearables, AR).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into functional applications in medical industry.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure a stable and reliable product.
  • Stay up to date with Unity updates and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes.
  • Experience with Leapmagic will be a plus.
  • Coding experience with C++ and Python will be a Plus.

Education/Experience:

5 years of experience as a Unity developer is required. 3 years of experience in MR is required. Proficiency in C# programming and experience with the Unity engine. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write moderately complex correspondence. Ability to effectively converse and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Math Ability:

Numerical Optimization, Partial Differential Equation, Numerical Optimization, Stochastic processes and strong understating in Trigonometry finding quaternions on a plane is a MUST.


Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret feedback from non-skilled technical system users to uncover the source of problems and persistence to efficiently provide solutions. Extreme attention to detail is required to ensure proper documentation of facts. Ability to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints, maintaining the security of data, competing priorities of high significance to the successful function of the department.


Computer Skills:

A significant comfort level in using a variety of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office products, web browsers, and CRM tools.
