Director of Sales - K-12 VR Educational Technology


This is a hands-on sales management role, accountable for selling and increasing revenue.


Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, onboard and manage a team of sales professionals focused on the K-12 VR educational technology vertical
  • Provide hands-on coaching, training and mentorship to continually develop the sales team's skills
  • Develop territory plans, sales strategies and go-to-market approaches to effectively penetrate school districts and educational markets
  • Manage the entire sales cycle - prospecting, qualification, demos, proposals, negotiation and closing
  • Leverage your rolodex and relationships to quickly build a pipeline and drive new business opportunities
  • Continually analyze and refine sales processes, tools and resources to improve efficiency and effectiveness


Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of sales management experience, ideally selling technology solutions into the K-12 education vertical
  • Proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams to achieve and exceed targets
  • Excellent sales methodology, process knowledge and deal management capabilities
  • Ability to deliver compelling virtual reality product demonstrations and presentations
