Director of Sales - K-12 VR Educational Technology
This is a hands-on sales management role, accountable for selling and increasing revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, onboard and manage a team of sales professionals focused on the K-12 VR educational technology vertical
- Provide hands-on coaching, training and mentorship to continually develop the sales team's skills
- Develop territory plans, sales strategies and go-to-market approaches to effectively penetrate school districts and educational markets
- Manage the entire sales cycle - prospecting, qualification, demos, proposals, negotiation and closing
- Leverage your rolodex and relationships to quickly build a pipeline and drive new business opportunities
- Continually analyze and refine sales processes, tools and resources to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of sales management experience, ideally selling technology solutions into the K-12 education vertical
- Proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams to achieve and exceed targets
- Excellent sales methodology, process knowledge and deal management capabilities
- Ability to deliver compelling virtual reality product demonstrations and presentations
