Junior Broadcast AR Engineer

The AE Live Group, consisting of AE Live, Silver Spoon, and Ignite, is looking for a Junior Broadcast AR Engineer to work with the Systems and Technology team on Augmented Reality and Virtual Production projects around the world. This role will be based out of our Secaucus, NJ studio with regular travel for projects.


The ideal candidate would have experience with A/V hardware and signals, system-based workflows, camera tracking, and experience configuring and troubleshooting computers and networks. Experience in live events or TV is a plus. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site engineering and operation support for AR/VP projects.
  • Assist with the prep and build on-site AR systems to required specifications. Maintain system documents and packlists.
  • Test and verify functionality of hardware and software before sending equipment out on jobs.
  • Create and maintain documentation on current system configurations and workflows.
  • Assist with the Inventory and maintenance of new and existing A/V hardware and AR Servers
  • Contribute to the R&D process by assisting with system setup and configuration as well as bringing ideas, research, and solutions to the team.
  • Advise the Director of Technology on hardware and software needs based on hands-on experience as well as product research.
