Responsibilities:

  • Develop various gaming components for VR game
  • Create tools that enhance and empower gameplay
  • Write clean, robust, and reusable code
  • Debug, optimize, and maintain existing code
  • Understand the game design and create corresponding technical designs
  • Follow and improve upon existing development processes and standards
  • Collaborate closely with other team members on programming issues and concepts
  • Engage in regular playtests and provide feedback to assess what aspects of the game are fun, what need fixing, and what could be improved


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of programming experience in the gaming industry
  • Good understanding of Unity editor scripting
  • Experience working on multiple games, including one VR game, and seeing full lifecycle project delivery
  • Excellent programming skills in Unity3D development using C#
  • Clear understanding of design patterns like Entity-Component model/Data-Oriented Model and MVC pattern
  • Basic understanding of the Graphics Pipeline, Shaders, and 3D Maths
  • Clear understanding of various protocols like HTTP

Bonus Qualifications

  • Proven experience working on an online game with a large user-base
  • Experience with multiplayer game development
