Job Description: As a Unity Game Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of immersive AR/VR experiences tailored for medical applications. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and medical professionals, you will contribute to the creation of engaging and interactive simulations that enhance medical training, patient education, and healthcare delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers and developers to translate project requirements into functional and intuitive Unity-based experiences.
  • Design, develop, and optimize interactive AR/VR applications and simulations for medical training and patient care.
  • Implement gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and interactive elements to enhance user engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Utilize best practices for performance optimization and platform compatibility across various AR/VR devices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in game development, AR/VR, and healthcare to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the overall design and architecture of AR/VR solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and extensibility.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience developing interactive applications/games using Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Strong proficiency in C# programming and Unity development tools.
  • Familiarity with AR/VR development frameworks and platforms (e.g., Oculus, HTC Vive, ARKit, ARCore).
  • Solid understanding of 3D graphics, physics, and animation principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes.


Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid on-site position based in New York City, with at least 3 days per week required in the office.
  • The company offers a competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $230,000+ annually, depending on seniority level.
  • Full relocation package is available for qualified candidates.
