iQuasar is seeking to fill a Senior Technologist position for their customer in Ashburn, VA. This person should have a Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science and/or 8+ years experience in simulation technologies and should have a passion for product development. This role will communicate daily with the CTO and EVP, Products and will work on a team of 6-8 fellow developers.

• Job Title: Senior Technologist, Advanced Simulations & Spatial Computing
• Position Type: Full Time
• Salary: $150k
• Location: Remote (ideally local to Ashburn, VA)
• Travel: No
• Clearance: TS/SCI preferred active (current acceptable)
  
  

Technology Capabilities and Experience:

• NVIDIA Omniverse (Kit Extensions, RTX, Microservices, Python, C++)
• Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD) (developing with layers, scene composition, variants, etc.)
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine (C++, Blueprints)
• Foundational/general knowledge of 3D modeling workflows (Maya, 3DS Max, Blender)
• Spatial Computing mediums such as VR/AR/MR/XR
  
  

Nice to have:

• Houdini (Digital Assets, Vex, Python)
• Cesium/Cesium Ion (gLTF, 3D Tiles, CesiumJS)
• Working knowledge of AWS solutions (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda and VAMS)
• Backend / Full Stack Capabilities (Node.JS, Next.JS, CMS systems)
• Experience working in the Military Simulation industry
