Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is The purpose of the team is to build a remote desktop experience that is in VR or AR, where users can connect to another computer and have multiple screens in a virtual desk, and also interact with 3D content from Windows applications.

• Key projects: This role will contribute to a remote desktop experience that is in VR or AR, where users can connect to another computer and have multiple screens in a virtual desk, and also interact with 3D content from Windows applications. Plugins for different applications that bridge the content in those applications into the 3D environment, using various programming languages and Windows application development.

• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The day to day for the artist 5 role would involve creating and optimizing 3D assets and environments in VR, using the Unity engine. They would also work with baked lighting and other techniques to enhance the performance and realism of the VR scenes. They would collaborate with a small team of developers and designers to build a remote desktop experience that allows users to connect to another computer and interact with 3D content from Windows applications. .

1. Minimum 10+ years experience with Unity optimization: creating and optimizing 3D assets and environments in VR using the Unity engine

2. Minimum 10+ years experience with 3D asset management: working with 3D objects, meshes, textures, and other components of 3D content.

3. Minimum 10+ years experience with Environment creation: designing and building realistic and immersive VR scenes with baked lighting and other techniques.

Summary:

The main function of a 3D Artist is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical 3D Artist needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems

• Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design

• Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client

• Create charts and graphs from data given

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred

• 10+ years experience required

• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability

• Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic and film

• Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images

• Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software
