We are growing our marketing team and looking for a Marketing Creative.

I imagine you’ve probably read hundreds of job descriptions already. At some point, they all start to run together, don’t they? Hopefully, this one feels less painful.

What’s different about this one?

This job isn’t just about producing visual assets and “making things look pretty” –– it’s about working with the marketing team to drive demand generation through content marketing, social media, sales enablement tools, events, and more. It’s about executing overall marketing content that drives leads, with a focus on content distribution strategy.

  • Marketing Excellence: More than traditional graphic design, marketing incorporates brand voice and standards to execute and elevate marketing materials that raise awareness, drive engagement, and help land sales.
  • Content Distribution: Content is king, and content distribution is the chariot. The goal of content distribution is to create, publish, remix/repurpose, and promote content through various media channels and formats. Your role? Building unique, ‘value-added’ content and remixing it in various graphic and video formats to increase awareness, traffic, and impression-share.

We are seeking a talented & experienced Marketing Creative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, experience in all things visual design (print and web-based), a deep understanding of design principles, a background in video editing, and the ability to strategically plan/cater to various & specific audiences and channels. Plus, have a love for learning, experimentation, strategy, and ‘mistakes are opportunities to learn’ attitude.

What might that look like?

Your goal is to help amplify our brand. On any given day, you might be designing a slide deck for a conference presentation, editing video, creating visual assets for video/animation, publishing a case study or blog, creating sales enablement assets, landing pages, formatting & styling Google docs, crafting social media graphics, collaborating on video scripts, creating visual assets for email campaigns, designing & resizing display ads or remixing/repurposing content for new channels.

That’s the high level.

You should be comfortable with all things Adobe Creative Suite You should be comfortable with collaboration and feedback and willing to try new things that contribute to demand generation campaigns.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a remote team environment, and be committed to pursuing healthy, team-based relationships. We succeed together and fail together. It takes a village. You should also be highly organized & able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines. Do you hate micromanagement? Good. So do we.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with the Head of Demand Generation on various marketing projects & initiatives.
  • Create visual assets for all marketing, focusing on how to remix various versions of the same types with a content distribution framework in mind.
  • Adopt brand standards from Creative Directory to design with intent, strategy, and brand consistency.
  • Conceptualize, create, edit, and design company assets: including blogs, landing pages, podcasts, videos, slide decks, one-pagers, and more.
  • Deeply understand the product, how customers use it, and why they find it valuable. Research our industry and customers, as well as news, developments, trends, and major pain points.
  • Help us communicate our value to customers in a way that lights them up.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years design experience
  • Experience in marketing
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically:
    • Photoshop
    • InDesign
    • Premier Pro
    • + Illustrator is a plus
    • + Figma is a plus
  • Proficiency in advanced editing in Google Workspace products, specifically:
    • Google Slides
    • Google Docs
  • Experience with email campaign builders (Mailchimp, Intercom, etc.)
  • Experience in B2B marketing preferred
  • Experience in social media preferred
  • Experience with Unbounce preferred
  • WordPress + Elementor preferred
