We are now seeking an experienced Augmented Reality Designer to join our team and contribute to groundbreaking AR projects.

Job Description:

We are looking for an Augmented Reality Designer with a deep understanding of WebAR and Social AR Development across popular platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and particularly WebAR via 8th Wall/Niantic. This role is crucial for designing and implementing advanced AR solutions that engage users and elevate our clients' brands and the consumer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating interactive AR experiences and a portfolio showcasing high-quality work for paid clients. Unity experience and knowledge and history of building mobile AR applications will give you a large advantage.

To be clear, this is *not* an entry level position or a position for somebody just starting their AR/XR journey. Applicants must have a strong portfolio of AR work for clients. Please do not apply if you have never created AR content for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop engaging AR experiences for a variety of platforms including WebAR and SocialAR (Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, 8th Wall/Niantic).
• Applicants with Unity experience will be favorable. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new AR features.
• Stay updated with the latest AR trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our AR solutions are cutting-edge.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver AR experiences that exceed their expectations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and developers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record with a minimum of 2+ years in AR design and development, specifically with WebAR and SocialAR platforms.
• Strong portfolio of paid client work demonstrating expertise in creating high-quality augmented reality experiences.
• Proficient in AR content creation tools and programming languages relevant to AR development.
• Experience creating gamified AR experiences for WebXR 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
