Description

We are seeking an early career talented AR developer to join our team. The AR developer will  assist in designing and developing an augmented art gallery experience in preparation of our first annual art show fundraiser. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for software development, experience with Webflow and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the Wrkz design and engineering team on implementing algorithms to integrate virtual objects seamlessly into the real world, considering aspects such as object recognition, tracking, and interaction.
• Translate design artifacts into functional AR experiences that align with project goals and target audience.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX designers, and product managers.

Qualifications

Must have:

• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, C++, or JavaScript, knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine is nice to have.
• Proven experience as an software developer with a portfolio of previous work in AR design and development.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Snapchat AR technology, including Lens Studio and SnapML, for creating engaging AR experiences on the Snapchat platform.
• Familiarity with CameraKit or similar camera frameworks for integrating advanced camera functionalities into AR applications.

Commitments

• 4 weeks: 3/13/24 - 4/13/24, 3 hours per week.
• Must meet the deadline for polished artifacts by 4/6/24.
• Weekly team stand-up.
• Ability to attend the day of the event 4/13/24.
