The AR/VR and AI Partnerships organization at Meta oversees product-defining partnerships in areas where Meta is investing for the long-term. Strategy & Operations serves as a trusted thought partner to the Partnerships leadership team, helping shape strategic direction and driving operational rigor in execution.The Strategy & Operations team is looking for an experienced leader to support the Partnerships Engineering team, as well as lead central operations across the Partnerships organization. The Partnerships Engineering team is part of the AR/VR and AI Partnerships organization, responsible for building prototypes and custom integrations for partners. This person will support the Partnerships Engineering team (50% of role), while also implementing cross-Partnerships operational improvement programs (50% of role).The ideal candidate is passionate about the products that Meta and other companies are building to advance consumer experiences in AR/VR and AI, has technical/product knowledge in AR/VR and/or AI, is a strong operator, and has a track record of working with leaders to drive strategic decision-making and seamless execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strategy & Operations Manager, AR/VR and AI Partnerships Responsibilities:
- Be a trusted advisor to the Partnerships Engineering leadership team on key engineering initiatives, partnerships programs, and special projects.
- Conduct business research and analysis to provide actionable insights for leadership to support decision-making.
- Help develop and shape partnerships strategies for new markets, products, and/or verticals.
- Lead operational reviews to drive decision-making and assess progress against goals and priorities.
- Proactively identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements and build plans to execute and scale these operational improvement programs.
- Be the go-to person who connects cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, deeper collaboration, or greater efficiency.
- Drive key leadership meetings and facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or other relevant/technical disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning and/or business operations in the technology/internet or digital media space.
- Experience leading strategy, operations and process improvement projects in consulting and/or in a relevant strategy/operations function.
- Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills, with a proven track record of driving projects from strategy to execution.
- Proven leadership and influencing skills, with experience leading/influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical or product knowledge in AR/VR and/or AI.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration.
- Experience at a leading management consulting firm.
- Experience supporting both commercial and product leadership in successfully launching new products and/or businesses.
