Position: VR Hardware Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $68 - $70 / hour

Work Authorization: Must be willing and able to work W2

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Expert in performing automated test scripts in Python
• Background in electronics
• Knowledge with electronic measurement equipment
• Experience in system-level testing and hardware-software integration
• Familiarity with VR and AR technologies
• Ability to adapt to and work comfortably within VR environments for up to half a day

The VR Hardware Engineer will operate within VR environments for extended periods (up to half a day) to perform testing and analysis.

We are looking for a VR Hardware Engineer who is passionate about combining electrical engineering and computer engineering skills to shape the future of VR technology. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in testing and verifying the performance of our VR hardware and software systems.

- Develop automation scripts, with a focus on Python, to streamline testing processes

- Conduct system-level testing to ensure hardware and software integration

- Collaborate with the team to develop testing strategies for VR and AR products

- Set up and maintain testing equipment and VR environments

- Collaborate closely with team members and participate in daily meetings to plan and execute tests

- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and meet project deadlines

- Provide technical insights into hardware-software interactions and system-level performance

- Troubleshoot and document hardware issues, providing feedback to the development team
