We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development and Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Inhance, an interactive marketing agency. In this role, you will drive business growth and increase sales by identifying and securing new clients, nurturing existing prospects and relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in generating $1 million or more in annual sales within the digital advertising and marketing agency or experiential marketing industry.


The Business Development and Sales Manager promotes and sells Inhance’s cutting-edge content development and custom software development offerings to new clients. You will identify prospects through existing marketing leads, CRM, attending trade shows and events, new lead generation, responding to RFPs, and other sales practices. You will lead all aspects of the sales process through collaboration with creative, technical, project management, and executive teams.


The BD Manager’s secondary focus is expanding and growing certain existing clients’ accounts with significant growth opportunities, as assigned by executive management. This is an exciting opportunity for growth for a motivated, goals-driven sales professional with a great sales bonus structure.

Position Requirements

·      Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, CRM, and prospecting activities.

·      Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.

·      Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and drive repeat business.

·      Conduct thorough needs assessments, discovery, and consultation with clients to understand their marketing and business goals, challenges, and project scope.  

·      Collaborate with the internal creative, strategy, and content development teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet client objectives.

·      Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and sales pitches to key decision-makers, showcasing our agency's capabilities and value proposition.

·      Lead pitch and proposal process working closely with Creative Director(s) and Producer(s). Determine the resources needed to win the pitch, and what is needed to meet client requirements and scope. Help write the project’s proposal and Statement of Work (SOW).

·      Review, write, and comment on SOW and support the team. Assist in the SOW and pricing negotiation with the client and the client’s procurement, as needed.

·      Help to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

·      Stay up to date with industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

·      Track and report sales metrics, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM to management regularly.

·      Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and expand professional networks.

·      Implement results-based sales strategies and processes geared toward new client acquisition in target industries as well as monthly/quarterly sales goals.

·      Identify prospective clients through multiple sales practices including, but not limited to using our CRM, attending events, cold calling, responding to RFPs and following up on marketing leads.

·      Generate repeat business from current accounts/clients.

·      Maintain knowledge of and enthusiasm for the advertising/marketing, immersive and experiential industry.

·      Participate in industry tradeshows, events, and other networking opportunities.


Qualifications/Experience

·      Proven track record of generating $1 million or more in annual sales within the advertising and marketing agency or experiential marketing industry.

·      Strong business development and sales experience, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.

·      In-depth knowledge of the marketing and advertising landscape, including digital, experiential, social media, and traditional channels.

·      Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively.

·      Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust and credibility with clients.

·      Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to identify and address client needs effectively.

·      Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·      Proficient in CRM software and sales tools to manage leads, contacts, and sales activities.

·      A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

·      5+ years of experience in sales, business development, and revenue generation lead role. Software-as-a-service, digital/marketing agency industry experience is a plus.

·      Proven track record of new revenue generated, generating leads, relationship-based selling, and turning prospects into clients while working collaboratively across multiple teams.

·      Working knowledge of interactive/digital media and digital marketing solutions and services is a plus (e.g. video, 2D/3D animation and interactive production, immersive XR, and software). 

·      Must be a strong leader and teammate with great client management skills. Must be punctual, reliable, flexible, and excellent at balancing multiple detail-oriented projects. 

·      Must have excellent presentation skills and communication skills (written, oral, internal, and client-facing).  

·      Proven ability to plan and execute responsibilities with minimal direction.
