What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for virtual and augmented reality technology, researching and applying technology for business needs
• Apply virtual reality to various applications such as remote walks, employee training, product development, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and digital twin applications
• Research technology with good payback suitable for the organization's needs
• Create standard operating procedures for the usage of virtual and augmented reality applications and train employees accordingly
• Manage vendor selection and projects related to selected technology
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 6 years of experience, or associate degree with a minimum of 10 years of working in a technological field
• Experience working in a high-paced production environment
• Demonstrated experience in applying virtual reality technology
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings and training sessions in-person and virtually
• Basic level understanding of Project Management practices and exposure to project tracking tools
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Manufacturing process knowledge, including ferrous and non-ferrous foundries, machining, robotic and manual material handling, and various assembly methods
• Adaptability: Adapts well to changes in assignments and priorities; adapts behavior or work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles; approaches change positively and adjusts behaviors accordingly
