Job Description

An aerospace client is looking for a AR/VR Developer who will use Unity Game Engine to create interactive Mechanical Engineering design and operation environments using digital product representations and cross-functional interactions. Interactive environments will incorporate software applications in multiple technology media systems, such as graphics, animation, text, and sound.


Location: Chandler, AZ 85286

Position: VR Multimedia Developer

Pay Rate: $40/hr. to $50/hr. on W2 (DOE)

Duration: 6 months or longer

Schedule: 9/80


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will emphasize animation, surface texturing, and rendering and require strong visual and cooperative design proficiency, as well as a comprehension of game design principles, and technical expertise to translate between business and technology efforts.
  • Knowledge of rocket design, engineering, or operations is a definite plus.
  • Current team applications are dedicated to being a resource for launch vehicle fleet improvement.
  • Should be skilled in problem solving, out-of-the-box thinking, and passionate about advancing technologies from cradle to wide-spread use.
  • Must be self-motivated and naturally curious while able to work with a team on a common goal.
  • Experience in graphic programming, shader scripting, C#, and Digital Content Creation languages such as Python or MEL is a plus.
  • The ability to conceive, mature, and execute environments ranging from static visual 3D models to immersive interactive environments and animated simulations is essential.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • US Citizen required
  • BA/BS in Digital Media, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2 years of full-time development experience with Unity Game Engine or Unreal Engine, or 4 additional years in lieu of degree
  • Experience with Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented (AR), or Mixed Reality (XR) development and hardware including the Oculus or Varjo
  • Eligible to obtain Security Clearance
  • Reside in or near Chandler, AZ for on-site work
  • Available to travel 0-10%
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Unity's Expert Certification
  • Experience in Graphic Art
  • Security Clearance
  • Storyboarding Experience
  • 2D/3D Game Asset production experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
