The Meta Reality Labs Partnerships team is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to help drive new product partnerships for an emerging technology and product space in our AR/VR business group. You'll be at the center of a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional team pushing on every aspect of bringing new products to market: technology, hardware, software, marketing and brand, GTM, and distribution. You’ll be responsible for partnerships across all aspects of new product development working closely with our cross functional teams and leading how we work with Healthcare and HealthTech partners. Facebook's FRL organization brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and platform.

AR Devices Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, Build and Execute on partnerships for hardware and software development with U.S. healthcare buyers, including health insurers, employer benefit decision makers at fortune 500 companies, and HR benefits consultants that includes: Profiling partners, including relationship map, business financials, business lines/model
  • Define, negotiate, and close complex joint development, marketing, and product partnerships deals
  • Develop and drive external partner strategy for new Healthtech products in the FRL team that can influence roadmaps, that includes developing hypotheses and potential financial models on how best to sell product into company and structure agreement to benefit partner and Meta
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, product marketing, legal, finance, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, and advocate internally for partners throughout the development cycle

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 8+ years of work experience, including 5+ years of business development experience
  • Experience with structuring and negotiating partnership agreements for development, joint development, IP and brand licensing, marketing and distribution, and more
  • Experience working with media companies to license and develop content, and experience in brand licensing.
  • Experience interpreting legal documents, negotiate contracts and work with attorneys to complete agreements
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree with JD or MBA
  • Experience working in an evolving and collaborative environment and work effectively cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Experience developing working relationships inside and outside Facebook
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare sales, digital health, healthcare technology experience
  • Experience selling to major U.S. health insurance, employers, and health systems and/or experience with performance guarantee, value-based payment, and innovative contracting models
