Job Description

This is a hybrid role that will require the right candidate to wear multiple hats as both a contract AND project manager for the Strategic Sourcing team.


In the contract manager role, the candidate will help prepare and negotiate various commercial contracts for our AR/VR Strategic Sourcing team. This position requires knowledge and experience with commercial contracts and contractual language. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent tight deadlines under minimal supervision and must also be comfortable working collaboratively, efficiently and effectively with both internal clients and external vendors.


In the project manager role, the candidate will have to work cross-functionally with different stakeholders in the organization, including, engineering, legal, procurement, finance, tax and accounting to ensure projects and deals are successfully completed. This person should have very strong organizational and interpersonal skills to help keep the team on track to timelines, budgets and goals.


Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, redline, negotiate and manage commercial contracts including supply agreements, statements of work, amendments and related documents.
  • Engaging in frequent verbal and written communications with Meta and vendor’s legal teams
  • Developing and maintaining a good system of keeping track of projects, with data visualization where applicable, to report out regularly on team's activities in cost management, contract management, vendor management, etc.
  • Assist in standardization of the processes, database buildout, buy/sell, and other initiatives to improve efficiency
  • Helping with operational aspects of running certain staff meetings, the latter including coordinating agendas/targets/initiative roll out and closure, scheduling and following through with open items
  • Ensure business activities and contracts comply with internal policies and guidelines, and industry laws and regulation by closely tying out with internal legal, compliance, finance, tax, and others
  • Support on gathering, assessing, and summarizing market intelligence pertaining to the industry and associated suppliers, including financial data, news, reports, and relevant information.

Skills

  • Contract drafting and negotiation and project management experience in the high-tech industry a plus.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Adept in working with various tools including MS Office, Google, and contract management tools.
  • Compiling database and data visualization is a plus


Requirement:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 8+ years of Supply Chain experience
