Candidate will play a significant role in the development of novel algorithms, innovative system solutions and open-source prototype related to machine learning/LLM based computer vision technologies. This internship is a unique opportunity to directly contribute to advancements in model training and serving efficiency and safety. You'll work alongside world-class researchers, develop cutting-edge solutions, and have a real impact on the future of ML.

What You'll Do

• Conduct research on emerging trends in efficient and safe ML training and serving techniques.
• Participate in the design and development of novel algorithms and approaches to optimize resource utilization during training and inference.
• Implement and test prototypes to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of new ML technology.
• Analyze data and present research findings, clearly communicating the impact on efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and scientists across the team to integrate your work into the broader ML ecosystem.
• Design innovative system solutions and build open-source prototypes.
• Contribute to high-value intellectual property (IP) and patents.
• Publish research findings in top conferences and journals.
  
  
  

Requirements

• A creative problem-solver with a strong foundation in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in algorithm design, and machine learning.
• Strong foundation in machine learning concepts (supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning, etc.).
• Knowledge and hands-on experiences with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms, generative AI, LLM, LVM, and familiarity with ML development framework, such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow, is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in python or C/C++ is required.
• Experience in working with open-source software frameworks is a plus.
• A passion for innovation and efficiency in machine learning technology.
• A clear and concise communicator, both written and verbal.
• Ideally, a Ph.D. or M.S. student in computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar technical field.
