Overview

Tiger Technologies, Inc. is a software development company that utilizes XR and AI technologies to create new virtual dating experiences. In 2024, TT plans to release its flagship product: Tiger Dating. Tiger Dating is an XR dating app that transports users into VR/AR environments, which, together with optimal matching*, facilitate high probability encounters with real-time visual, verbal, and physical communication. 

The Position

As a VR/AR Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the foundational software for Tiger Dating. Your background should be in VR/AR, 3D simulations, and math modeling and you should have deep knowledge of standard programing algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design. You should have a strong technological background, commitment to excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and a desire to take a leadership role on a friendly yet highly capable and competitive founding team.

Your core objectives will be:

·        Design, develop and implement XR prototypes

·        Test prototypes with users

·        Use modeling tools to create 3D models of objects within an application’s environment

·        Effectively communicate project status and needs to founding team

·        Innovate by expressing ideas that improve customer delight

·        Ensure project deadlines are met

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• BS, MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• 1-3 years’ experience in development of VR/AR systems using Unity, Unreal, Frostbite, or other/proprietary
• Experience with Agile software practices
• Experience with C++ and/or C# programming or similar programming languages
• Experience with developing VR capabilities (Oculus, HoloLens, HTC Vive, etc.)
• Experience with developing AR capabilities (HoloLens, Magic Leap, ARKit, etc.)
• Team-oriented individual with strong work ethic
• Plus: if you’ve developed and launched a product

Compensation

Compensation is a combination of Equity plus Salary. All co-founders will receive the same amount of Equity (which is substantial), and a competitive salary once we raise our first round of funding. We believe in paying top-of-market for talent. The successful candidate should be entrepreneurial, believe in the vision, love the team, love what we stand for and be ok with not being paid for 3-6 months. You should be motivated and energized to essentially earn a top-of-market salary by creating a new, fun product with a friendly yet competitive and hard-charging founding team.
