Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and talented 3D Audio Editor/Sound Designer with the following requirements:

• Passion for VR
• Worked in sound design for 3D Games
• Deep knowledge and competency in editing sound effects from libraries for 3D Games

Responsibilities:

1. Passion for VR: Demonstrate a deep interest and enthusiasm for virtual reality experiences.
2. 3D Games Sound Design: Proven experience in sound design for 3D games, showcasing a strong portfolio of relevant work.
3. Library Sound Effects Editing: Utilize deep knowledge and competency in editing sound effects from libraries for 3D games, ensuring accurate distance perception from subject to player ears.
4. Scrupulous Asset Creation: Supplement library assets by creatively capturing sound effects using home recording equipment when necessary.
5. Volume and Variety: Ability to create large volumes of assets for variety, ensuring that sound effects remain within a consistent family with shared elements that enhance in-game re-playability.
6. Full Stack Sound Design: Possess experience in full-stack sound design, demonstrating the ability to think independently and foresee implementation challenges.
7. Balancing Act: Balance background sound effects against legible dialog, creating complementary frequency ranges and following volume normalization guidelines.
8. Loop Creation: Skill in crafting perfect loops with appropriate heads and tails, adhering to compression and format guidelines.
9. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
10. Self-Motivated: Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
11. Tool Proficiency: Possess a strong foundation in sound design tools and software.
12. Headset Experience: HTC headset experience preferred, familiarity with Android-based headsets is a plus.
