Regional Manager Overview – North TX/OK/AR – Local Government & K-12

The Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for promoting the OMNIA Partners, Public Sector cooperative contract program within the Northern TX/OK and AR markets. Working with purchasing practitioners from cities, counties and K-12 members, the RM will be responsible for identifying and supporting cooperative purchasing solutions for OMNIA Partners, Public Sector’s participating agencies. The RM will also work collaboratively with awarded supply partners to develop and implement strategies that drive increased adoption of the OMNIA Partners, Public Sector’s contract portfolio. The RM will report to the Group VP - West, live within the territory, and should expect to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Must live in region within one hour from major airport
  • Travel within territory 75% of time. Responsible for maintaining individual schedule and

arranging travel plans for that schedule – Air, Car, and/or Hotel travel

  • Work with awarded suppliers within territory to strategize and motivate salesforce
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with supplier sales personnel and regional management
  • Responsible for suppliers increasing volume through contract by driving value to agencies
  • Schedule and attend in-person and virtual appointments with public agencies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Strategic Accounts in territory
  • Foster purchasing relationships at end-using departments within Strategic Accounts.
  • Develop relationships with state sponsors within territory
  • Responsible for coordinating workshops & exhibits of regional shows with Events team
  • Take complete ownership of territory, Engage team members for help and

guidance when necessary

  • Manage & stay within expense budget
  • Support Corporate Training events scheduled by Supplier

Job Qualifications and Experience

  • Great teammate who likes to work hard but have fun!
  • Energetic and enthusiastic; comfortable working in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a remote environment
  • Experience with a CRM system (Salesforce)
  • BA/BS degree
  • 3 + years of sales experience, public sector sales experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently and be self‐motivated, results oriented
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Relationship builder
