About The Role

Mass Virtual is currently seeking a talented and experienced Game Sound Designer to join our team. We’re looking for a hard-working, passionate teammate who loves the idea of working together with a group of highly driven, award-winning professionals. (Demo reel/portfolio must be submitted with application).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Identify opportunities and audio needs in all products across multiple multimedia formats
• Test, debug, and QA all audio for products
• Manage all aspects of audio assets development
• Work with engineers to develop next-gen audio technologies
• Work within budgets for the given platforms
• Work independently on audio asset sets
• Approve and implement assets coming from outsourcing partners
• Some travel may be required
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Interactive and linear sound effects editing and design
• Audio asset implementation
• Audio tools & run-time systems design collaboration
• Mixing & mastering
• Ability to perform work in accordance with prescribed deadlines, on time and high quality
• Technical setup of in game audio assets
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to new technologies
• A passion for great audio
• Focused, motivated and effective on all tasks through completion
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written English language skills

• Sound production experience in the simulation and training industry
• Music composition and editing
