Seeking Narrative Designer for Cross-Platform XR Game

About the Project

We are embarking on an exciting new project in the realm of XR gaming. Our vision is to create a cross-platform experience that seamlessly integrates virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) elements. Our goal is to craft a narrative that is not only engaging but also utilizes the unique capabilities of XR to provide an immersive and interactive storytelling experience.

Role Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the narrative vision for our XR project.

- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and programmers to integrate story with gameplay mechanics and XR technology.

- Write compelling dialogue, story arcs, and character bios.

- Adapt narrative elements to work fluidly across different gaming platforms and devices.

- Ensure narrative consistency and quality across all aspects of the game.

- Prototype and iterate on narrative elements to enhance player immersion and interaction.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Narrative Designer or a similar role in the gaming industry.

- Strong understanding of game design principles and how they interact with story and character development.

- Proficient with VR/AR technologies and aware of their potential in storytelling.

- Exceptional writing skills with a knack for creating engaging, character-driven narratives.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.

- Familiarity with game engines and tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
