Expected compensation: $89.00 - $108.00 per hour

HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network hire an AR/VR Prototyper to research, design and create prototypes in the required area of AI. In this role, you'll work collaboratively to build and enhance prototyping platforms.

The ideal candidate is a highly creative individual with 10+ years of experience and proficiency in Unity. We're looking for someone with the ability to visualize in 3D and understand the aesthetic aspects of design.

As An AR/VR Prototyper, You’ll

  • Research, design and create interactive prototypes.
  • Set up/maintain prototypes and present to various audiences.
  • Communicate your analysis to your cross-functional partners and give/solicit real-time feedback from others to approve the quality of the product.
  • Partner cross-functionally while overseeing the implementation of the user experience from product conception/launch and perform post-launch design support.
  • Create product-ready assets for internal rapid testing and external release.
  • Advocate for product design throughout the company.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of prototyping experience
  • Skilled in Unity (e.g. UX or general AR/VR 3D experience)
  • Expert programming ability in one or more languages (E.g., C#, JavaScript, HLSL/GLSL, Cg)
  • Expert ability to visualize in 3D and understand the aesthetic aspects of design
  • Understanding of AI technology and keeps up to date with trends and developments
  • Familiarity with multiple aspects of AR/VR development (e.g. interaction logics, shaders, input/output, character rigging/animation, tracking technologies)
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with a variety of technological frameworks
  • Understanding of how to build multi-device experiences

Commitment: This is a full-time, 12-month contract position staffed via HireArt. This role will be remote and available to candidates local to the New York, NY; Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA and San Diego, CA areas.
