Meta Reality Labs is looking for an exceptional individual to take on the role of Channel Marketing Manager for North America retail. Reporting to the head of Channel Marketing North America, this experienced team member will be responsible for and oversee marketing operations including budgets, experiential programs, customer acquisition and retention, and measurement while continually improving our toolset and processes to meet our goals. This exciting and crucial role will be responsible for driving and delivering our go-to-channel strategy with Canadian retail partners like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, etc.The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across internal cross-functional partners - including Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations. The position entails establishing and strengthening relationships with Meta 3P Retail partners in the Canadian market to drive the Meta VR/MR hardware vision.The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, driven to make Meta “our retail partner’s best partner", and thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Channel Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Developing, building and executing marketing programs in partnership with internal Channel Marketing, Channel Services, Retail Creative and Marketing counterparts in order to achieve business goals
  • Leading, applying and executing Meta RL Channel Marketing strategy directly with retail partners within agreed-upon budgets and key performance indicators
  • Providing oversight and management of channel co-marketing and OPEX budget, focusing on performance and delivering against agreed upon metrics
  • Coordinating and managing marketing brand assets and deliver on time to creative teams, while following-up and delivering to retail partners
  • Taking a broad perspective while examining campaigns and projects
  • assessing problems & making decisions based on relevant information, including identifying and spotting less obvious solutions- creatively
  • Influencing key business decisions and outcomes within cross-functional and organizational settings
  • Managing, measuring and optimizing marketing programs that drive results and improve efficiency
  • Providing point-of-contact for Meta RL Marketing in relation to accounts managed
  • Completing and examining campaigns and projects
  • assessing problems and making decisions based on relevant information - including new or less-obvious solutions
  • Building and maintaining collaborative and productive relationships while networking internally and externally with retailer marketing counterparts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in marketing role, with a clear record of achievement
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Experience and clear understanding of the North American retail landscape
  • Experience in go-to-market planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven advocate for innovation and the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies
  • Communication and presentation skills with proven business acumen
