Technical Lead / Lead Programmer | VR Gaming | $130,000-$150,000 | Toronto (Hybrid)

The Role:

They are now on the lookout for a skilled Technical Lead / Lead Programmer to lead a team of eight to twelve C++ and Unreal Engine programmers into their biggest battle yet!

Responsibilities

• Coordinating high-level initiatives with leadership
• Setting coding standards and conveying key designs to the technical team
• Creating project outlines and technical breakdowns for proposals
• Leading prototype efforts to validate concepts
• Guiding product vision and defining game design principles
• Facilitating team discussions and maintaining alignment in complex scenarios
• Contributing to studio growth by implementing new workflows
• Building and guiding the technical team for optimal performance

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, specifically within gaming
• 5+ years Unreal Engine experience
• 5+ years C++ experience
• Previous VR experience or a keen interest would be ideal!
