This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and interdisciplinary group of researchers and engineers, using cutting-edge technology to make an impact in the world of AR/VR.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

• Collaborate closely with researchers and designers to create new XR interaction experiences.
• Set up and maintain development/production pipelines and workflows to align cross-functional teams.
• Build software tools and infrastructure to improve the work of designers, researchers, and engineers.
• Utilize optimal tools and methods to enhance research, design, and prototyping workflows.
• Share best practices, provide training, and integrate, validate, and optimize data in pipelines.
• Produce and maintain documentation for tools, methods, training, and processes.
• Participate in technical discussions, work on prototypes, and engage in user studies.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to raising the quality of our work.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• 5+ years of experience in prototyping or game development.
• 3+ years of experience working with Unity or Unreal, including expertise in various aspects of game development, tools, and pipelines.
• Proficiency in 3D asset work, scripting, tool development, shaders, VFX, post-processing, procedural effects, and animations.
• Strong programming experience in C++, C#, and Python.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, linear algebra, vector math, and related data structures.
• Technical understanding of art production processes and workflows.
• Experience with 3D authoring software (e.g., 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, Cinema4D) is a plus.
• Proficiency with source control systems (Git, Perforce, Mercurial).
• Familiarity with UI development for tools, such as React and QT, is beneficial.
• A portfolio showcasing tools, graphic rendering workflows, interactive prototype work, and more.
• A strong willingness to learn and contribute to the development of next-gen XR technologies.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers and software engineers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The following qualifications would make you a star candidate:

• Proficiency in creating content and animation tools, as well as 3D modeling tools.
• Experience in web development.
• Work with sensing devices and IoT.
