Our client, a global agency, is seeking a Unity Developer, with 3D/CGI Artist experience. This role will be a true contact to hire opportunity, to convert in early 2024. This role is set to start immediately and candidates must be in close proximity to Chicago, Detroit, New York, Los Angeles, or Long Beach.


Overview:

Within the 3D & Interactive division, we’re building product visualizations, digital walkthroughs, VR/AR experiences, metaverse activations, and game assets for big brands. We’re looking for a strong Unity Developer who can work with a global team of 3D artists and developers to create advanced product visualizers and gamified experiences. We value strong technical skills, a creative eye, and a wild passion for building immersive content. Expertise and portfolio demonstrating experience with automotive, consumer electronics, computer hardware, and/or entertainment are key.


Responsibilities:

  • Create immersive product detail experiences, AR experiences, and sales-enablement aids for large brands.
  • Assist with pipeline development for product configurators in Unity.
  • Work directly with our Unity, Adobe, and NVIDIA partners.
  • Collaborate with our creative directors, our artists, and our engineers to create immersive brand experiences.
  • Manage source control (Git), feature branches, and software deployments.
  • Manage our internal CI/CD processes.
  • Monitor and profile build performance.
  • Troubleshoot and solve production issues with Unity tooling.
  • Foster continuous innovation with new technologies and processes.
  • Help us continue to evolve and improve our real-time pipeline.


Qualifications:

  • At least 2-4+ years of Unity C# experience.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
  • Experience extending editor-based tools and build scripts in addition to authoring game logic.
  • Experience managing source control (SVN, Git, Perforce, or Plastic).
  • Some experience with Maya, Blender, or 3Ds preferred.
  • Experience with PiXYZ or equivalent a plus.
  • VR/AR/MR experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, game development, fine arts, or related field preferred.
  • Must have a portfolio and can talk through prior experience with product visualization (ie: digital twins).
