SUMMARY:

The XR Product Manager works with key business leaders to identify & implement solutions that leverage AR/MR that create value within the organization. They will incubate, validate, and execute strategic objectives. They will grow an engaged user base and deploy solutions that are intuitive and easy to use. This role will lead design sessions, connect business users to XR use cases, and drive corporate wide adoption. To measure success, they will establish KPI’s that will demonstrate overall adoption and ROI as a result of these new technologies. In addition, they will continue to stay up to date on new technologies that could provide further competitive advantages to the organization.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Writes business driven specifications for developers where applicable.
  • Drive team meetings, project planning, and ensure team follows standard agile type ceremonies when evaluating new technologies & tools.
  • Oversees successful cross-functional collaboration by ensuring the completion of milestones by engineering team and other internal partners (i.e., P2MRO, On site solutions) ensuring the completed work aligns with roadmap for a product line(s).
  • Establish, monitor, react, and grow important KPIs such as revenue generation, time savings, efficiency improvements, etc.
  • Collaborate with key stake holders across engineering, program management, technology product management to ensure the program meets all specifications and KPIs
  • Understanding customer needs
  • Defining the vision and objectives of the product in collaboration with enterprise excellence teams.
  • Defining roadmap and prioritizing features
  • Facilitate, lead, and delegate teams with decision making.
  • Assess competitive landscape, develop competitive analysis materials and stay up to date on technological advancement and feeding back into the roadmap to build a differentiated product offering.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience or and equivalent combination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • An eye for UI/UX design and being able to communicate with designers and developers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Very organized with a high attention to detail
  • Analytical
  • Ability to execute at a very detailed level while keeping the big picture in mind
  • Experienced in Agile practices
  • Previous history creating a successful XR applications from idea to deployment
