Position Overview
Zenni is looking for a Virtual Reality UI/UX Designer to collaborate with the Optical Product and leadership team. In this role you will work with a team to design, develop and implement virtual reality experiences.
What We Want You To Own In This Role
- Demonstrate your expertise by creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes that effectively convey design concepts
- Design visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces tailored for virtual reality applications
- Conduct user research, gather feedback, and utilize human factors and interaction design principles to inform your design decisions
- Work closely with developers to seamlessly implement your UI/UX designs within virtual reality environments
Basic Qualifications
- Understanding and respect for diversity and inclusion
- 2 + years of non-internship experience as a UI/UX Designer
- 1+ years of non-internship experience working in AR/VR environments
- 1+ years of non-intership experience working with Unreal or Unity Engine
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Experience in instructional design, product development, or training created for educational or informational VR experiences
- Portfolio showcasing your previous VR UI/UX design work
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics, coupled with the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and design trends in the dynamic VR industry

As of 01/01/2023, the expected annual compensation range for this position is 110-130K CAD. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company’s business needs.
