About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Back-End Developer to join our dynamic and innovative development team. As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with Front-End Developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure server-side applications and services
• Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall architecture of applications
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and ensure reliable operation
• Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient querying
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in back-end development
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, conducting code reviews and promoting coding standards
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• 5+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects
• Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Node.js, Express.js, Next.js or similar
• Strong knowledge of PWA and its application in the modern web tech stake
• Solid understanding of web application architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices
• Experience with database management systems like AzureSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (ex. Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing applications
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following coding standards
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize complex applications
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  
  

Great To Have

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and have implemented DevOps in different environments
