Job Description
A Technical Artist is the key bridge between artists and engineers. We are looking for a passionate Technical Artist to closely work with a multidisciplinary team to build new cutting-edge social experiences. This candidate will work to develop experiences as well as craft the logic behind them. Work with TAs, engineers, and designers to create tools and infrastructure, improving processes, character systems, performance.
Help shape the pipeline for our company's avatar system that will be used by billions users!
Top 3 Must-have HARD Skills
1 Programming experience with Python, JavaScript, C++, or C#
2 Self-motivated, high attention to detail and excellent communication skills
3 Focus area in at least one of the following specialties:
- Writing custom shaders for a real time environment (working in shading languages like GLSL/HLSL), strong math background
- Real time game or 3D/AR/VR performance analysis and tuning
- Experience as a character tech artist for tools and pipeline
1 Experience with character animation systems
2 Computer Science background/education
3 Experience shipping products with stringent runtime performance constraints, such as complex mobile or 3D applications or games.
