Overview /Objective

The NFL is currently seeking an associate to join our Social Content, Creator, and Innovation team. This individual will be responsible for managing the NFL’s Content Creator Network, which includes identifying viral-worthy opportunities to partner with up-and-coming creator talent, leading creative development with creators, players, and talent, and executing social-first content shoots. This person will also manage the NFL’s Augmented Reality strategy and executions across emerging platforms. A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of and passion for the National Football League and the intersection of internet culture, creative social-first content, and innovation/technology.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and execute viral-worthy activations with up-and-coming content creators who align with the NFL’s goals to reach youth audiences on social, manage relationships with creators, creator managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support original content shoots with creators, players, and other talent from concept to execution including ideation, scripting, and assisting on set.
  • Create innovative social content in partnership with the NFL Social Lab and production partners at tentpole events including Super Bowl, NFL Draft, and Pro Bowl.
  • Manage, develop, and execute Augmented Reality and emerging tech activations (AR Lenses, Filters, and Effects) across NFL Social for tentpole events and priority initiatives in partnership with platforms like TikTok, Snap, Meta, and NFL App.
  • Assist in leading strategy and recap decks around priority NFL events and initiatives.
  • Work cross functionally to support brand marketing campaign efforts year-round through custom content and social activations.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years social media and/or content production experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or influencer marketing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Expert-level understanding of current and emerging social platforms.
  • Extensive knowledge of the current landscape of the NFL.
  • Understanding of the current Creator economy with a strong eye for engaging and trending content.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly proficient in developing compelling strategy and recap decks.
  • Self-starter who can work effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment.
  • Detail-oriented individual who executes for success.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms including, but not limited to, TikTok, Snap, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Facebook.
Other Key Attributes / Characteristics
  • Experience using social platforms in a professional capacity.
  • Experience producing talent and managing productions.
  • A demonstrated ability to identify and create engaging social media content as well as recognize and leverage social moments.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, select holidays, and weekends.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.

Salary / Pay Range

Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

  • This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
