Chief Technology Officer

A US-based Series B AR/VR company seeks a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead this cross-functional and multifaceted technology team. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthtech industries such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mental Health, Digital Therapeutics, etc. As the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, leading technology strategies, and ensuring the successful development and deployment of cutting-edge healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with business goals and fosters innovation in the healthtech sector.
- Product Development: Lead and oversee the development of medical devices, digital therapeutics, and mental health solutions, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product management, and clinical teams, to drive the successful integration of technology into healthcare solutions.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with relevant regulations and ensure that all products and technologies comply with industry standards and guidelines.
- Partnership and Vendor Management: Identify and manage strategic partnerships and vendors to enhance technological capabilities and expand our reach.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage the technology budget and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
- Proven track record in healthtech industries, including experience in medical device manufacturing, digital therapeutics, or mental health technology (BONUS: Start-Up experience)
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing highly performing teams.
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and adapt to evolving market trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
